At least two problems with that suggestion


(1) lack of land, and (2) access. Even if they did build a on (or near) campus stadium, they would also need an expressway to get people to/from it. If you thought the old Orange Bowl was difficult to get to, their campus would be a nightmare.

Lack of cash is another problem. Since they are a small private school, they can't get state funds for a stadium (like the other major Florida universities), and they probably don't have a donor base to privately fund it.

There are no simple solutions.
